Binge-Worthy Food Shows & Movies

Episode Notes

There are several movies that feature coffee and the coffee industry as a central theme or plot element. I will share a few examples. I do love coffee as you know, but I’m obsessed with cooking shows. Oftentimes they cook with coffee! I recently binged the Big Brunch with Dan Levy. You’ll love that one if you love brunch and espresso martinis! Plus he’s so sweet and the challenges are scrumptious!

"Coffee on the Silver Screen: A Binge-Worthy List Featuring the Coffee Industry"

There are several movies that feature coffee and the coffee industry as a central theme or plot element. I will share a few examples. I do love coffee as you know, but I’m obsessed with cooking shows. Oftentimes they cook with coffee,

  1. like say a coffee rub on a steak

  2. Espresso in tiramisu

.I recently binged the Big Brunch with Dan Levy. You’ll love that one if you love brunch and espresso martinis! Plus he’s so sweet and the challenges are scrumptious!

I found 4 older movies, and I’ll be checking them out.

I’m open to a watch party for coffee lovers!

  1. "A Fine Line" (2015) is a documentary that follows six female chefs and their journey to becoming successful restaurant owners in a male-dominated industry, it also highlights the importance of coffee in their life. When I looked it up it won a ton of film awards.

  2. "The Coffee Man" (2016) is a documentary that explores the specialty coffee industry, following the story of a coffee roaster as he travels the world in search of coffee nirvana!

  3. "Barista" (2015) is an independent documentary film that follows the lives of five baristas as they compete in the National Barista Championship, highlighting the artistry and technical skill that goes into making a great cup of coffee.

  4. "The Coffee Trail" (2015) is another documentary with Adventurer and journalist Simon Reeve as he heads to Vietnam to uncover the stories behind the nation's morning pick-me-up. It takes a look at the global coffee trade, following the journey of a coffee bean from the farm to the cup.

Do you like food shows? Have you binge watched any like the Big Brunch? And if anyone knows Dan Levy, can you ask him if he’ll come on my show?

This season is produced by pale blue studios
